The master's degree program in English Studies provides, based on a previous Bachelor's degree in English Studies or a comparable relevant Bachelor's degree, an in-depth academic and research-oriented education in the field of English linguistics as well as in the field of Anglophone literature and cultures.
The main focus of Cologne English Studies is:

(Historical) Corpus Linguistics,
Psycholinguistics,

Additional information:
When registering for the Master's thesis, you must provide evidence of knowledge of Latin to the extent of the Small Latinum or knowledge of another foreign language at level A2 (GeR). You may have to provide evidence of additional language skills when you are admitted to the master's program.
The application deadline for the M.A. Εnglish Studiеs at University of Cologne depends on the country where you obtained your previous degree.
