Research you can cheer for, not a lecture: At the University of Potsdam's English-language Science Slam, six researchers from a wide range of disciplines take their work to the stage in ten minutes each â entertaining, easy to follow and with a generous dose of humor. One of them is a doctoral candidate from the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy who wants to turn stubborn biomass into useful fibers. Who wins is up to you: the audience is the jury. The evening is hosted by Dr. Bryan Nowack, a successful science slammer himself. A great way to experience the university's research diversity and Potsdam's cultural scene in a single evening.
