Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in “Bachelor in International Business Administration” are:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent higher education entrance qualification (e.g., IB, Abitur, A-Levels). If your secondary school diploma has not been issued by the application deadline, you may apply with the most recent mid-term report card/predicted grades from your final school year.
Achieved through either a business internship or apprenticeship amounting to a total of six weeks. This can also be a combination of multiple internships lasting at least two weeks each. Internships shorter than two weeks, older than two years, or completed at your family's business will not qualify. The internship(s) must be completed before the start of the program.
Language Requirements
The following certificates are recognised as proof of your language proficience.

- Interests and Hobbies (e.g sports, the arts, clubs)
- Languages (native language and any others with proficiency level)

Letter of Motivation including the following content:
- First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (no other personal contact information, no picture)
- Motivation for wanting to study international business administration
- Motivation behind wanting to study at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management
- Personal profile (e.g. strengths, weaknesses, fit for WHU, career goals)

School Leaving Certificate / Diploma or the most recent grade report from your final school year.
Proof of an apprenticeship (with a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce) or of a commercial/business-related internship. The duration of the placement must be clearly stated in order to demonstrate your fulfillment of the six weeks. This can be achieved through multiple internships as long as each one lasts a minimum of two-weeks. Internships shorter than two weeks, older than two years, or completed at your family's business will not qualify. If you have yet to complete an internship, a letter from the company confirming the upcoming position is acceptable.
