Course description

Previous Degree

Secondary school diploma or equivalent higher education entrance qualification (e.g., IB, Abitur, A-Levels). If your secondary school diploma has not been issued by the application deadline, you may apply with the most recent mid-term report card/predictions available.

Work Experience

Practical experience: Achieved through either a business internship or apprenticeship amounting to a total of six weeks. This can also be a combination of multiple internships lasting at least two weeks each.

Additional information:
If you are currently studying at an English-speaking school, you may be exempt from an English test. There is an English track for the bachelor program, and for that, it is required a TOEFL iBT of 100, an IELTS of 7, or the CAE with at least a grade of B. No information provided by the university regarding the German language skills required.

    4. The motivation for wanting to study international business administration.
    5. The motivation behind wanting to study at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

  3. Portrait photo of yourself (jpeg, ideally 3x4cm, 150dpi). Please upload the file as Last Name_First Name.jpeg.
  4. School leaving certificate/Diploma or the most recent grade report.
  5. Proof of English proficiency (see language requirements) or registration for the Institutional TOEFL Test at WHU. Please note: English-based curriculum students (A-Levels, IB, etc.) are exempt.
  6. Proof of an apprenticeship (with a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce) or of a commercial internship. The duration of the placement must be clearly stated in order to demonstrate your fulfillment of the six weeks. This can be achieved through multiple internships as long as each one lasts a minimum of two weeks. An internship shorter than two weeks will not qualify. If you have yet to complete an internship, a letter from the company confirming the upcoming position is acceptable.
