English language skills can also be proven with the MELAB (Michigan Test, score of 80), GCSE (British General Certificate of Secondary Education) with grades A or B, International Baccalaureate English A Literature & English A Language and Literature with a score of 6,7, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (New SAT) with a score of 600, ACT Writing with a score of 9, or Duolingo English Test with a score of 110. You will qualify for a English proficiency waiver if you are a native English speakers, or have been instructed exclusively in English for a minimum of 6 years, or have scored 600 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, or have scored 9 or higher on the ACT Writing section. You may need to confirm you qualify for a waiver with the Office of Admissions.
