Course Description
Are you interested in the arts and cultural sector? Curious about the role of the arts, cultural production, and cultural theory in social change? Leuphana University's Bachelor's program in Cultural Studies: Organization, Society, and the Arts offers you the opportunity to explore these interests deeply. You'll study the organization of art and culture through digital platforms, ecological change, urbanization, migration, and new forms of cultural participation. This program encourages you to adopt new perspectives and continuously question your own point of view.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in one of the following subjects: Art History/Science of Art/Visual Studies/Visual Culture, Communication Science, Cultural Analysis/Cultural Studies, Economic science, Ethnology/Social Anthropology/Cultural Anthropology, Film Studies, Gender Studies, Human Geography, Literary Studies, Media Science, Musicology, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Science of History, Sociology, Theater Studies.
With at least 60 CP in modules relevant to the listed subjects/disciplines and at least 10 CP in a scientific theory or scientific method.
Minimum ECTS credits: 180. Even if you have not completed your Bachelor’s degree you may apply for a Master's degree program. You have to prove successfully completed courses at 81% (145/180 or 170/210 ECTS) of the required total performancе.
