In XUโs B.A. Digital Marketing & Social Media, you learn to grow brands online by designing campaigns, shaping communities, and turning data into decisions. This program fits you if youโre finishing high school (or equivalent) and want a marketing degree that is hands-on from day one. Youโre curious about online consumer behavior, enjoy mixing creativity with numbers, and want to learn the tech behind channels like social media and search. No prior marketing experience is requiredโmotivation and willingness to experiment matter most.
The curriculum connects strategy, creativity, and data. You build skills in social media tools, SEO/SEA, performance marketing, analytics, CMS and marketing automation, plus branding and communication tech. Each semester, you apply concepts in projects and case studies through workshops and teamwork. You also examine ethical and cultural impacts of digital communication and can add experience through a study-abroad semester or the XU TimeLab format.
Study full-time in a face-to-face, on-campus format at XU in Potsdam/Berlin. The bachelor is designed for 3 years, spanning 6 semesters, with courses taught in English. You join one of two annual intakes (April or October) and learn in interactive seminars, workshops, and team settings.
