Admission requirements vary according to the educational background and citizenship of all applicants. The admission requirements are in accordance with German legal stipulations.
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife). In case you have not graduated yet, please apply with your existing transcripts or your latest interim certificate. However, the university will need your final degree certificate before you can start your studies.
- Proof of English language proficiency (see language requirements).
- Letter of motivation: Why do you want to study at the Berlin School of Popular Arts and what do you expect from your degree? What is your professional future?

After reviewing your application documents and fulfilling our basic requirements, the university will invite you to an interview in Berlin. If you cannot travel to Berlin, they are happy to organise an online interview.
