English Proficiency: An English placement test is conducted at the beginning of the program to assess students' proficiency. This test is diagnostic and does not exclude students from the program.
Additional Language Requirement:
Students need to have knowledge of another modern or classical foreign language.
For a modern language, proficiency at level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.
Latin or Ancient Greek knowledge can be demonstrated through a school certificate showing at least a passing grade after three years of study.
These additional language skills must be demonstrated by the time students apply for their bachelor's thesis and can be acquired during the course of study.
Important Notes for International Students:
International applicants should contact the International Office for admission-related questions.
Further information can be found on the university's English web pages.
For any further questions about the program or admission requirements, potential applicants are advised to contact the Central Student Advisory Service or the specific academic advisory service at the University of Bambеrg.
