Students with B.A. degrees obtained in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa, does not need to provide any of the English language certificate mentioned above. Feststellungsprüfung (German part of the exam) can also prove German language proficiency.

Application Deadlines
The application deadline for the B.A. English and Ameriсan Studiеs at Ruhr-Universität Bochum depends on the country where you obtained your previous degree. For applicants with a degree from non-EU countries, the application deadline is 20 August for the winter semester and 15 January for the summer semester. Applications are made: Hochschulstart (DoSV).
Officially certified copy of school report (original language and a German or English translation).
Possibly an officially certified copy of the assessment test to determine the eligibility of foreign applicants for studies at institutions of higher education in Germany (Feststellungsprüfung).
APS certificate (only for applicants with certificates from China or Viеtnam).
