Participation in the test of the English seminar at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität can be replaced by submitting a certificate of the mentioned tests. During the program, you must choose a minor subject (only available in German).

An officially certified copy of the certificate of general higher education entrance qualification or a relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or a foreign university entrance qualification that has been recognized as equivalent by the responsible state body.
A written declaration by the applicant that he/she has not taken the entrance exam for the English seminar at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität more than once.
If applicable, a certificate of the qualified passing of the TOEFL test (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS -Tests (International English Language Testing System). See the language requirements for more informatiοn.
