The language skills are considered verified if the university entrance qualification was acquired at a German-speaking school at the end of year 11 or 12 with a minimum mark of "sufficient" ("ausreichend") in the subject of English; or the university entrance qualification was acquired at an English-speaking school; or the university entrance qualification was acquired at a school within the scope of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, stating the acquired level; or in case of a university entrance qualification acquired at a school outside the scope of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, an equivalence assessment process has been carried out according to the assessment proposals of the Central Office for Foreign Education at the Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs; or the entrance examination of the Sprachenakademie Aachen was passed; or an English-speaking degree program was completed in full at a European university.
