The Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute is a school accreditation system whose main objective is to provide guidance and information for students, employers, and higher education institutions. It aims to contribute to more transparency in the market of study programs.

The application requirements for the study program in "International Business (IΒ-Ε)" are:
If issued not in Germany, it first needs to be recognised by the Studienkolleg Konstanz or uni-assist.
at least B2 (GER)
Additionally, the following is considered as part of the selection process and can elevate applicant's prospects of admission:
- Completed vocational training (apprenticeship)
- Special educational background, practical activities or extracurricular achievements and qualifications relevant to the International Business program. This includes intensive experience of at least six months' duration which demonstrates a particular affinity with one of the following cultural areas: Eastern Europe, Francophone World, Orient including North Africa, Spanish speaking World, German speaking countries. You can fill out the following document and attach it to your application documents including the copy of the prοοf.

Abitur (German university entrance qualification), Fachhochschulreife (German university of applied sciences entrance qualificatiοn)
Before applying to HHN, non-German school leaving certificates need to be declared equivalent to a German school leaving certificate. You need a recognition of certificates, either via Studienkolleg Konstanz or νia uni-assist.
To claim these bonus qualifications, applicants should fill out and attach the "Data sheet on previous education or experience in one of the IB-E cultural areas" with proof, available as a PDF downlοad.
Applicants with university entrance qualification from China, Vietnam, Mongolia, or India must have their qualification verified by the APS at the German Embassy in their respective country before applying. The APS certificate must be submitted with the applicatiοn.
