Additional information:
English language skills can also be proven with a certificate of allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur) or Fachhochschulreife with the grade ‘satisfactory’ (4.0 or a minumum of 5 points). If either of these certificates does not indicate a final grade in English, the average of the partial English grades listed on your transcript for the last two years of school will be used. TOEFL, IELTS, and Linguaskill General are also accepted. A higher education entrance qualification attained at a school in an English-speaking country (as defined by the Federal Agency for Civic Education) or an English-language school; an official letter or certificate of admission for a degree course in an English-speaking country (as defined by the Federal Agency for Civic Education); proof (in the form of an official transcript or letter of confirmation from the university) of having spent at least one year studying successfully in an English-language degree course or at a higher education institution in an English-speaking country (as defined by the Federal Agency for Civic Education); suitable proof of at least six months of professional experience in an English-language company
following graduation or completion of an internship semester in an English-language company, or suitable proof of at least six months of professional experience or completion of an internship semester in an English-speaking country (as defined by the Federal Agency for Civic Education) can also serve as proof. In some cases, applicants whose qualifications are comparable to those tests mentioned above may be considered. The Student Admissions and Registration Office will determine whether the certificates provided are equivalent to the requirements listed on a case-by-case basis.
