Course Description

Are interested in the sustainability of oceans and wish to conduct research on marine species and ecosystems? Then the unique B.Sc. in Geosciences created by the University of Bremen is the program for you! This study course is ideally suited for students who are passionate about the ocean and its natural environment, its dynamics and the impact of human activities, and who wish to find solutions to urgent marine world problems. You’ll first learn the necessary fundamentals in mathematics, natural sciences, and marine geosciences, and then delve deeper by choosing three appealing related fields of specialization. And, of course, you’ll also put into practice all you have learned during field trips and excursions and during an internship in Germany or abroad!

The B.Sc. in Marine Geosciences is intended for holders of a German general higher educational entrance qualification or equivalent degree from abroad interested in advancing their qualifications and career opportunities in the field of marine geosciences.
