Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in “Mechanical Enginееring” are:
To be eligible for admission to German universities, prospective students must possess a higher education entrance qualification, known as "Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB)." This can either be a general higher education entrance qualification ("Abitur") or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification ("Fachhochschulreife"). Applicants with academic credentials acquired outside of Germany must apply for their recognitiοn.
For individuals from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) without a German "Abitur" or a higher education entrance qualification obtained either in Germany or at a German school abroad under German law, the following are required:
- A motivation letter in English.
- A curriculum vitae in a tabulated format, also in English.
- A scholastic aptitude test, either SAT or TestAS (Core Test and Engineering Module).
