Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biotechnology and/or food technology.
Required ECTS credits: 210.
Applicants whose bachelor’s degree was made up of less than 210 credit points can only be admitted to the program under certain conditions. This condition is defined as follows: The applicant has to complete modules adding up to the difference between the credit points gained in the bachelor’s degree and 210 CP. These specific modules are to be defined by an admission committee. Proof of successful attendance of these modules is a prerequisite for admission to register for the master’s thesis.
Applicants with a degree in a related subject area may be admitted to the master’s degree program under the condition that they take specific modules. These specific modules are to be defined by an admission committee. Proof of successful attendance of these modules is a prerequisite for admission to register for the master’s thеsis.
- A final grade of at least GUT [GOOD] awarded for the bachelor’s degree, or
- Proof of relevant professional experience of at least two years after completion of the university degree, or
- A minimum of two favourable letters of reference from professors of the university/universities previously attеndеd.

The following certificates are recognized as proof of your language proficiency.

- A copy of your university entrance qualification (if necessary also in an officially certified English or German translation).
- If necessary, an APS certificate, if provided (e.g. for applications from China, Vietnam, or India).
- A copy of your bachelor's or diploma certificate (if necessary in an officially certified English or German translation).
- Proof of English language skills (see language requirements).
