- Class rank means your final grade ranked X among Y students who graduated that year.
- For documentation not in English or German, it is required an official English translation along with a copy of the original document.
- If you are in the last semester of your bachelor's degree, you may apply with an English or German record of all the grades received up to that point including their average.
- An English curriculum vitae in table format and in reverse chronological order of max. 1 page. Please include your focus subject in high school, any higher education, past laboratory and work experience, awards/scholarships, and relevant extracurricular activities.

Otherwise, you need to provide one of the common certificates.
- University entrance qualification (as for the bachelor certificate, an official translation may be requirеd).
