Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in "Biology - From Molecules tο Оrganisms" are:
Applicants must have successfully completed a minimum of six-semester Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field (at least 180 ECTS credits) from a German university or a university in a Bologna signatory country, or an equivalent degree from another country.
The applicant has been awarded at least 89 credit points (incl. Bachelor’s thesis) in Biology, of which at least 6 credit points have been awarded for a Bachelor’s thesis (final thesis) involving an experimental or analytical assignment. The selection committee may give credit for credit points awarded in non-biological natural sciences subjects.
- For degrees from non-Bologna countries, equivalency is determined based on the recommendations of the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZАΒ).

The following documents may be submitted but are not required:
- currentness and quality of the applicant's Bachelor's thesis (abstract),
- notable achievements during the applicant's degree program, or
- notable personal achievements (e.g. scholarships, awards, social engagement)
These documents can improve the grade by a total of up to 0.6 pοints.
