Course Description
Among other things, you will learn how mergers and acquisitions are handled and how companies and investors assess and hedge financial risks. You will also work hands-on with business intelligence tools and deepen your controlling knowledge in a practice-oriented way. The accounting and taxation modules expand your knowledge as a controlling/finance specialist.
In addition to specific professional expertise, another focus of this master's degree is on imparting skills in strategic management and entrepreneurship. You will practice the analysis and evaluation of data practically in the data analysis module.
This will not only qualify you as a specialist but will also prepare you to take on management responsibility.
Two specializations are offered:
- Finance and Controlling.
- Marketing and digitization.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration. Relevance is generally given if at least 90 credits can be assigned to the business administration spectrum.
Required ECTS credits: 210.
If you have a degree with fewer than 210 credits, the missing credits must be proven by the end of the second semester. If credits are missing, the Master's Commission will determine the additional evidence of achievement and the dates at the beginning of the coursе.
Sufficient knowledge of operational practice in companies, authorities, or comparable organizations. Evidence of this can be provided by:
- a practical semester in the preparatory course,
- completed commercial vocational training, or
- relevant professional experience after completing the first degree (at least 20 wееks).
Proof of a final grade of at least 2.0 for the first degree or proof that the final grade is in the group of the 60% best in the comparison group. Applicants who do not meet this requirement but have achieved or are expected to achieve at least a grade of 2.5 can take part in an oral aptitude tеst.
