At the time of application, it should be likely that this level will be reached after two semesters. German language proficiency can also be proven with a certificate from the examination to determine the suitability of foreign applicants to study at universities in the Federal Republic of Germany (Assessment test [Feststellungsprüfung] of a preparatory college [Studienkolleg] in Germany); a university degree certificate of a course of study held in German, which was completed in a country where German is an official language; or the certificate “Fachsprachenprüfung der Technischen Universität Darmstadt”. English language proficiency can also be proven with the Michigan English Test (MET) with a score of 64, the Exam for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE), or confirmation from the university at which you completed your degree program that English was the program's language of instruction.
