Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a subject relevant to the program, such as psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, cognitive science, or IT.

Required ECTS credit: 180.

Evidence of sufficient basic knowledge in the field of "Experimental psychological training" and/or "Mathematics" (9 CP each; equivalent to the bridge modules BM1 and BM2). This evidence is typically provided through successful participation in a total of 9 CP of coursework. Applicants who cannot demonstrate sufficient skills in "Experimental psychological training" or "Mathematics" are admitted and obligated to complete either the BM1 or BM2 module during their master’s studies. If applicants lack knowledge of "Experimental psychological training" and "Mathematics", then they will not be admittеd.

Additional information:

English language knowledge can also be proven by a degree certificate for the completion of an English-language degree program at a recognized institution of higher education, or a certificate of the higher education entrance qualification obtained for an English language course of education in a country that has English as an official language, or College English Test (CET; China) Band 6 with at least 550 points. Other certificates or credentials recognized as equivalent will be published on the University of Potsdam’s website in accordance with the LSK’s decision before the start of the application process.
