Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or natural science or a related field.
Students in their final year of undergraduate study may be admitted on the condition that their bachelor’s degrees are awarded before they enroll at COMMAS.

Application Documents
The following list of documents (original version or certified translations if they are not in English/German) is asked to upload to the [email protected] for each applicant:
- High-school certificate or university entrance examination.
- University degree certificate (if studies are completed, otherwise provisional degree certificate or a document about the status of your study from the university with the expected graduation date).
- Transcripts of records of the bachelor studies.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the bachelor's degree. If your university cannot provide CGPA for your studies, please prepare a document where you calculate your CGPA over all the semesters in clear steps and upload it under the corresponding section on the [email protected] portal.
- A document explaining the Grading System.
- Curriculum vitae (CV).
- Letter of motivation (no longer than 1-2 pages).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Official score reports of English proficiency tests (see language requirements).

APS - Certificate of the Academic Test Service of the German Embassy certifying that the application documents are genuine. - Applicants from China (not Hong Kong and Macao):
Authenticated certificate of the Central University Entrance Examination "gaokao" and APS - Certificate of the Academic Test Service of the German Embassy in Beijing certifying that the application documents are genuine. - Applicants from Iran:
Authenticated certificate of University Entrance Examination (Konkur). Without this certificate, no admission letter may be issued. - Applicants from the Mongolian People's Republic:
Authenticity confirmation of a completed study. It will be provided by the German embassy in the Mongolian People's Republic. However, the confirmation does not necessarily mean that your prior studies are recognized in Germany. - Applicants from Vietnam:
