Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or computer science or a related course. The course must contain at least the following parts:
36 CP from the basics of computer science, thereof
12 credits from the field of theoretical computer science.
12 LP from the field of technical informatics or information technology.
12 credits from the area of methodical-practical computer science,
18 credits from the field of mathematics, and at least another 30 credits in computer science. The final thesis cannot be counted towards the 30 CР.

English language proficiency can also be proven by TU Berlin's ZEMS language course with level B2 or higher (successfully completed and with ECTS points certificate), bachelor studies with English as the language of instruction in an English-speaking country according to section "English as a native language" (successfully completed at an acknowledged university), German Abitur stating "Allgemeine Hochschulreife" (at least 6 years of basic or advanced courses in English as a first or second language and a minimum of 11 points on average or grade 2.0 over the last 4 school terms or explicit confirmation on the certificate that the achieved English level corresponds at least to level B2). If English is your native language (identification document from an English-speaking country or English as the official language), you are exempt from providing the English test.
