The severe environmental changes that can be generally described with the keyword "Basel III", lead to re-orientation in corporate management. The stronger emphasis and observation of the risk idea, and connection to a stronger merger of the areas of controlling and risk management in companies, are outward signs for this. This also takes into consideration the increased financial key figures and the corresponding control instruments.

The master's degree program in "Controlling and Risk Management" reacts to such changed requirements in the labor market and offers students a customizable profile of five controlling and five risk management modules:

The program is completed by an economic specialization module and an elective area in which, among others, lectures from the area of business information systems can be chosen.

Professional areas are available in financial and risk management as well as in treasury, accounting, corporate finance, and controlling of companies with all of its facets (e.g. marketing, production, logistics, and finance controlling), in banks, and corporate consulting.
