The English language knowledge can also be proven by ICFE - International Certificate in Financial English: C1 Pass/~ with merits, ILEC - International Legal English Certificate: C1 Pass/~ with merits, Linguaskill: C1 in all skills, an English-language school leaving certificate (from a country where English is the official language), an English-language university entrance qualification equivalent or professional qualification for at least three years of university study (from a country where English is the official language), with which English-language study achievements and examinations amounting to at least 180 ECTS credits or equivalent have been acquired (from a country where English is the official language). Applicants whose language of origin is English can also demonstrate compliance with the language level by submitting official documents showing that the applicant learns the language in early childhood without formal instruction as a first language and spent at least eight of the first twelve years of his/her life in a country in which the relevant language is used as the official language. German language knowledge can be proven by means of a Goethe certificate or comparable evidence. Applicants whose language of origin is German are exempt from the requirement for proof.
