Requirements
Qualification Requirements
University degree. Please be advised that the university preferably admits lawyers with a first law degree comparable to the German first legal state examination pursuant to the German Law on the Judiciary ("Deutsches Richtergesetz"). However, they do not exclude graduates from other fields of study from the admission process. In these cases, applications attesting familiarity and experience with disciplines related to the foci of the program such as telecommunication and energy law are prioritized.
Minimum standard period of study: 4 years.
Required ECTS credits: 240.
Postgraduate work experience of no less than one year. All kinds of professional experience are accepted, internships included, as long as these job activities were performed after the completion of the first university degree. Work experiences in the subject areas of the program are given priority in the admission procedure.
No minimum grade is required for admission.

Application Documents
All required application documents must be uploaded to the portal. They can be uploaded at once or separately until the end of the application period. Documents sent by post or email won't be considered. The following documents are requested for your application:
- A CV (tabular).
- Motivation letter.
- University degree documents (diploma/transcript of grades/diploma supplement).
- Proof of English language proficiency (see language requirements).
- Proof of postgraduate work experience.
If some of your application documents were not issued in German or English, you are requested to submit an additional translation into either German or English by a certified translator.
