Five Reasons to choose this Master's Program
Course Description
The program is designed for business and legal professionals as well as executives from European and international audiovisual companies active across the value chain, i.e., in production, sales or marketing companies, distributors, broadcasters, platforms, festivals, film institutes, and law firms, among others. The program also welcomes professionals seeking to enter the industry, creative audiovisual professionals who want to deepen their economic and legal knowledge, graduates of related study programs, incl. film schools as well as young professionals.
Special Program Features
Take advantage of a mostly online program
Students enrolled in the program enjoy the convenience of home-based learning as the majority of the course content is delivered through an online platform and weekend format (with classes mainly on Fridays and Saturdays - except from the in-person modules in Babelsberg). This allows much flexibility and work/study balance.
Part-time track
What makes the program even more flexible is the possibility of part-time studies. In essence, those who choose the part-time track will be given a chance to finalize their studies in six semesters, instead of the standard four.
Earn a double degree
The option to earn a double degree (LL.M. and MBA) is available. This entails extending your studies by two semesters after the completion of the first degree, allowing time to cover the necessary modules and compose the second master's thesis. It's important to remember that two separate applications are needed in this case.
