Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in law, economics, or political science.
Required ECTS credits: 180.
Students who in their undergraduate studies obtained 240 ECTS points require 1 year of work experience, while students who have obtained 180 ECTS points require proof of 2 years of work experience.
Above-average higher education degree.
Language Requirements

- Curriculum vitae (please use the Europass CV).
- Statement of motivation, answering the following questions (1 page):
- Why are you applying?
- What are your career goals?
- What are your qualifications?
- Why did you choose ZEI’s MES program?
- What do you expect from the program?
- Copy of graduate certificate and academic transcript: ZEI accepts documents in English, German and French only. Please submit a certified translation if necessary. Applicants who graduate shortly before the program begins may submit their diploma at a later date.
Please note: access to the program is only possible after the submission of a transcript and a diploma. - Certification of fluency in English (see language requirements).
- Reference from employer or internship confirmation: it is required the evidence of your work experience of either 1 or 2 years. For this, it is required a letter from your employer or a reference which states when you were employed and in which role.
- Copy of your passport.
Applications can be sent by post or via email.
Please note that if submitting via email it is still required for you to post a hard copy of the completed application form and your curriculum vitae in order for your application to be complete.

The documents should be sorted in this order:
- Application form.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Motivation letter.
- Copy of graduate certificate and academic transcript.
- Certification of fluency in English.
- Reference from employer or internship confirmation.
- Copy of your passport.
A hard copy of the completed application form and your curriculum vitae must still be sent via post in order for your application to be complete.
