Previous Degree
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in geodesy and geoinformation or a related program.
You must have basic knowledge of mathematics, computer science, statistics, and physics; interest in engineering and in geodetic questions and the ability to think in a spatially-referenced way; and persistence and firm problem-solving skills regarding complex questions.

Additional information:
In some cases, an alternative form of proof of language proficiency may be submitted in place of a language certificate, such as a GMAT with a score higher than 600, or if the language of instruction was English in an academic program (e.g. in a bachelor's) by submitting your transcript of records or your degree certificate as evidence (the language of instruction needs to have been English in more than 50% of the program).

Application Documents
You have to submit the following documents:
- Application for admission, which needs to be filled in, downloaded, signed, scanned, and uploaded again.
- Transcript of records that lists the modules you have passed in your prior study programs amounting to at least 120 credits. The transcript needs to be issued by the examination or study office of the university where you have completed your studies.
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form.
- Written motivation in English of at least one and a maximum of two pages in DIN A4, in which you describe the specific qualifications and interests based on which you consider yourself particularly suitable for the master's program "Geodesy and Geoinformation" at the Technical University of Munich.
- Copy of your personal identity card.
- Proof of necessary English skills (see language requirements).
- If available, a proof of subject-related vocational training or subject-related occupational activity as well as subject-specific additional qualifications (e.g. certificates, participation in scientific contests) to confirm your special motivation.
When you acquired your bachelor's degree, not at the Technical University of Munich, you have to submit the following documents in addition:
- Preliminary evaluation by uni-assist for graduate certificates (i.e. a bachelor's degree) obtained in a country outside of the EU/EEA.
