Bachelor's degree in Geoecology or a related program covering basically the same material or an equivalent degree in environmental or natural sciences.

For candidates with a bachelor's degree in another scientific or engineering discipline, it must be checked whether the required study skills can be made up within the prescribed period. The approval would then be given with the requirement to make up for the missing qualifications during the master's program.

If you want to apply with a bachelor's degree from an outside discipline, it is recommended that you contact the Academic Student Advisory Service to have the compliance of your bachelor's degree checked.

The broad and fundamental training in natural sciences with a specialization in Geoecology or environmental sciences means that the following subjects should be proved by the transcript of the bachelor’s degree. At least:

1. 6 CP mathematics.
2. 6 CP physics.
3. 12 CP chemistry.
4. 6 CP geology.
5. 6 CP biology of organisms.
6. 3 CP microbiology.
7. 6 CP soil science.
8. 6 CP ecology.
9. 6 CP hydrology and climatology.
10. 3 CP environmental chemistry.
11. 6 CP quantitative data processing/modeling/GIS.
12. Fieldwork (at least 15 days).

If courses up to 30 CP are lacking, an admission is possible with the condition to catch up on these courses within the framework of a learning agreemеnt.
