Qualification Requirements

Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in International Management or a field of business administration with a strong international orientation.

Minimum standard period of study: 3 years.
Required ECTS credits:&nbsр;180.

GPA Comment

If you have gained your bachelor's degree at a university outside Germany, you will receive a grade bonus contribution to your bachelor's degree GPA.

If your bachelor's degree was 100% taught in English, you will receive a grade bonus contribution to your bachelor's degree GPА.

Language Requirements

The following certificates are recognised as proof of your language proficience.

Additional information:
If you have not taken an internationally recognized language test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English) or if English proficiency at level C1 is not explicitly recorded on the certificate (or transcript of records) of your first university (bachelor) degree, then C1 English language proficiency can be certified by a competent person (e.g. a qualified language teacher) who is officially able to professionally assess your proficiency in English. In this case, download the form (Proof of English Language Competence for Applicants) and ask a language teacher to fill in, sign, date, and stamp the form.

Application Documents

  1. 1 passport copy.
  2. The original higher education entrance qualification with overview of the modules and the grades and its sworn translation (German/English).
  3. English language certificate (see language requirements).
  4. For master applications: completed application form (available for download in the portal My assist).
  5. For previous university studies: Bachelor certificate with overview of the modules and the grades and its sworn translation (German/English).
  6. Applicants from PR China and Vietnam: Confirmation of Academic Evaluation Body (APS).
  7. Applicants from India:
    1. For Winter Semester 2023/24, it is possible to apply without an APS certificate at Uni-assist (for Master courses only). In case you will receive admission, you would need the APS certificate for visa application.
