Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree in English or teaching English.

Proof of at least 60 credit points in English, of which at least 10 credit points each in English linguistics, English literary studies, and British cultural studiеs.

GPA Comment

Admission requires a qualifying university degree in Anglistik or Lehramt Englisch with at least 60 ECTS in Anglistik (min. 10 ECTS each in Linguistics, Literary Studies, and British Cultural Studies), English at C1, and a second foreign language at A2 or basic Latin. No numeric GPA threshοld statеd.

Does the university recognize "other equivalent language certificates"?

Additional information:

Non-native speakers of English must provide proof of English language proficiency. In the case of school-leaving certificates from a country in which English is the national language, as well as internationally standardized English-language school-leaving certificates from a non-English-speaking country (e.g. International Baccalaureate, High School Diploma at an American school abroad), proof of C1 level in English is also deemed to have been provided. Knowledge of another foreign language at level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference or basic knowledge of Latin.
