The application requirements for the study program in “Human Rights Studies in Politics, Law and Society” are:
Previous degree (or equivalent) in:
- Social sciences, cultural sciences, political sciences, communication, economics, law, philosophy and/or similar subjects.
Minimum ECTS required:
Admission is possible if the Bachelor's program includes social and/or legal knowledge of at least 40 ECTS has been acquired. Until 20 ECTS can alternatively be proven in the first year of study. The examination board imposes conditions for this.

Application Procedure & Selection
Certified copies of academic transcripts of records from your previous studies, including courses taken and grades/marks awarded, as well as any degree certificates (e.g. Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees) in the original language.
Certified copy of official translations into German or English (only if the original documents are in a language other than German or English) of the above-mentioned transcript of records from previous studies including courses taken and grades/marks awarded, as well as any degree certificates (e.g. Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees)
Letter of motivation in German or English stating your reasons for applying to the degree programme and outlining your professional ambitions (maximum of two pages).
