Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mechatronics or another closely related course.

Proof of a final grade of 2.5 or better. If this overall grade has not been achieved, the suitability for the qualified degree can be determined by the admissions committee if the overall picture of the application allows one to expect the master's degree to be successfully completed. For this purpose, the applicant has a personal interview with the admissions committee.

English language proficiency can also be proven by at least 7 years of English language training as part of general education, whereby at least satisfactory (3.0) achievements must have been achieved in the last four half-year sections, a bachelor's degree obtained in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand or the USA, a bachelor's degree in an English language course of study from a German university, or at least one year of professional stay in an English-speaking country (Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, USA). Applicants who have obtained their university entrance qualification or their first professional university degree in a native English-speaking country are exempt from proof of proficiency in the English language.
