Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a course of study considered relevant. Relevant courses of study are, in addition to business administration-oriented courses of study, in particular interdisciplinary courses of study with elements from social or cultural science courses of study (e.g. International Business, Applied Business Psychology, Digital Business, International Technology Management) as well as, technology-oriented courses with management content (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Media Informatics). Study programs with a overwhelming focus on engineering subjects, on the other hand, are not considered relevant.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 210.
Graduates of a bachelor's program with less than 210 (but at least 180) ECTS credits have the opportunity to prove their lack of theoretical competence by successfully completing modules from the basic study program offered by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden. If credits are missing at the beginning of the program, the examination board determines the additional study and examination achievements, which must be proven within one year of commencing the program. Missing practical competences can be demonstrated by means of practical work experience which meets the requirements of the practical semester in the undergraduate courses of study.
The university degree must have been completed with an overall examination performance of "good" or better (minimum of 2.5 grade average, German grading system).
