Qualification Requirements
Previous Degree
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant undergraduate degree (finance, business, economics). Also, strong knowledge in advanced mathematics and statistics is a pre-condition to admission to the master's study program.
An academic degree is considered relevant if it has:
- A minimum of 60 ECTS (EU degrees) or 12 modules (non-EU) in economics, business administration, and
- 15 ECTS (EU degrees) or 4 courses (non-EU) in quantitative methods for economists and managers (mathematics, statistics, econometrics, operations research, etc).

Additional information:
English language proficiency can also be proven by at least 30 credit points gained from English taught modules in a study program within the EU, according to the ECTS system (a list of relevant modules including credit points and teaching language with the confirmation statement from the university is a strict requirement), an average grade of a minimum of 10 points (4 semesters + exam) in the subject "English" proved with the German school leaving certificate "Abitur", or by the GMAT with a min. score 550 in total.

It is recommended to have basic knowledge (A2 or higher) of German in order to complete daily tasks and to be able to solve administrative duties for studying or doing an internship in Germany: however, German skills are not an admission requirement for our English study program.
