Course Description
The Master's degree program in International Taxation and Public Finance / Internationale Besteuerung und Finanzwissenschaft offers a research- and practice-oriented education in the areas of national and international tax law, corporate taxation and finance. Students acquire knowledge in economic methods, data analysis and tax problem solving for companies as well as public and private organizations. The program combines advanced tax theory with microeconomics and data analysis and is taught in both English and German, with the option to complete the program entirely in English with limited elective options.

This program is ideal for students with a strong interest in quantitative analysis, economics, and legal frameworks. Applicants should have a background in accounting, taxation, and finance, along with good to excellent skills in mathematics and statistics. Fluency in English (B2 level) and a solid knowledge of German (B1 level) are also important for admission.
