Registration Fee & Tuition Information:
The tuition fee at University College Dublin is 3657.5 € per year for EU nationals and 9950 € per year for non-EU nationals. There is no tuition fee at University of Potsdam.


Qualification Requirements

Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a social or historical degree.

Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 180.

Also, at least 40 credits in history, political science, sociology, or a related subject must have been earned. If the proof comes from a system without credit points, the joint examination committee decides on the equivalence of the services performed there. Should the applicant prove up to 5% less than the required credit points, the joint examination board will examine in individual cases whether the applicant meets the necessary requirements despite missing credit points.

GPA Comment

Students will have a minimum qualification of 2.1 in a relevant subject or an equivalent UCD GPA of 3.08.

Additional information:
For non-English speakers evidence of language proficiency is required. Students who achieve an IELTS of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5 will need to attend a pre-sessional language course.
