Application Documents
- Print out the online application form (signed)
- Detailed CV in tabular form.
- Certificate of university graduation.
- For international applicants, a VPD from uni-assist is required.
- Applications from PR China and Vietnam, a special visa procedure applies to you. In any case, contact the Akademische Prüfstelle APS, which is affiliated with the German Embassy, well in advance of your application. You can find detailed information and forms on their homepage.
- Bank statement as proof of payment of the fee of € 30 for processing the application (in case of transfer from abroad proof of payment) or turnover view (in case of online banking). Other proofs/receipts (such as transfer orders) are not accepted.
- Transfer students from other univercities must enclose proof of previous study and examination achievements.
- Proof of language skills is not required.
- A representative audio document of an artistic project must also be uploaded to the "Bemus" platform within the application deadline. You will find information on this below.
Upload within the application deadline a representative audio document of an artistic project with at least one original composition and 2 arrangements of your own or other compositions on the upload platform bemus (total duration 10-15 minutes), on which at least 1 solo of the applicant can be heard. In addition, 2 arrangements in musical notation should be uploaded.
Please also upload the formal documents to be submitted in paper form as PDF.
Possible file formats: pdf, mp3, mp4, mov.
Max. 2 GB per file, pdf max 500 MB
no more than 8 GB in total, max. 10 files.
The PDF file and the audio files must be named according to the following pattern:
Surname_First_Name_Applicant_Number_Study_Content.

If your courier service requires a contact person and a telephone number for sending your application, you can use the contact person from the IPA for this purpose.
If you are in Berlin, you can also drop your application documents (without a folder) in the letterbox of the building Einsteinufer 43 to the left of the entrance door.
The complete documents must be received by the UdK Berlin by the last day of the application deadline at the latest.
Applications by fax or e-mail are not possible. The date of receipt of the complete application documents is decisive for a timely application, not the postmark. If the last day of the application deadline is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is still possible to submit the printed application for admission with the accompanying documents on the following working day.
