Course Description
Discover how language shapes our digital and global world. In the M.A. Linguistics: Digital, Applied, Structural (LiDAS), you combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. You analyze language structures, investigate communicative processes using empirical methods, and work with digital tools. With flexible study paths and close ties to ongoing research, you qualify for roles spanning academia and professional practice.
LiDAS can also be pursued as the binational double degree program Linguistics: Digital, Applied, Structural – Sciences du Langage (LiDAS-SDL) with an integrated study abroad component. You spend one or two semesters at the Université d'Orléans and earn a German-French double degree.

This program is designed for bachelor's graduates with a background in linguistics or related disciplines (e.g., German or foreign languages in teacher education). If you want to combine language analysis with digital methods or are interested in topics such as intercultural communication or language teaching, you will find the right content here. It is ideal for students aiming for careers in research, communications, adult education, or other language-related professional fields.

Testimonials
