Registration Fee & Tuition Information:
The tuition fee for the 90 credits track is 24,300 €. The tuition fee for the 120 credits track is 32,400 €. Apply early (Jan. 15th) with complete application documents to receive an Early Bird reduction of 10% on one semester tuition fee. Apply by February 28th, 2021 and receive an application fee waiver.

Course description


The program has two available tracks: 90 credits or 120 credits, lasting 17 or 21 months respectively.

Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a business-related field of study, as well as graduates from STEM or other subjects who demonstrate an appropriate background in an entrepreneurship-related area, e.g. through electives, their thesis, or practical exposure.

Required ECTS credits: 180.

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 210 ECTS credits are able to choose the 90 credit track. This track lasts 17 months and includes a one-week international module, the capstone module.

Students who have completed a 180 ECTS credit bachelor’s degree will join the 120 credit track lasting 21 months. In this track, you will spend your third semester in either the Master or MBA program at one of the 200 partner universities.

Work Experience

At least 12 weeks of relevant practical experience. A practical experience of 20 weeks is recommended, which has to be completed in the business sector.

This program is open to candidates with a maximum of about 4 years of post-graduate work experience.

Additional information:
An English language proficiency test is not required if your first language is English or your bachelor was completed entirely in English. In this case, proof from your university is required. A TOEFL score of at least 105 internet-based or IELTS of 7.5 is recommended due to the requirements by some of the partner universities for the study abroad semester.

  1. Bachelor's degree. It is possible to apply with your current transcript of records from your bachelor’s studies, should you not have received your bachelor’s degree yet.
  2. At least 12 weeks of relevant practical experience. The university recommends practical experience of 20 weeks which has to be completed in the business sector.
  3. Proof of English language proficiency (see language requirements).
  4. Pitch Deck: Applicants are not required to submit a GMAT/GRE/TM-BASE. Instead, applicants are required to hand in a pitch deck with a maximum of 10 slides. As an orientation on how to create a pitch, the 10 slides should cover the following topics: Title, Problem/Opportunity, Value Proposition, “Underlying Magic”, Business Model, Go-To-Market Plan, Competitive Analysis, Management Team, Financial Projections and Key Metrics, Current Status.
  5. International experience of about 3 months: As international experience, the university accepts e.g. internships abroad, language courses, semester abroad, summer schools, or high school exchange year in a non-German speaking country. This requirement must only be fulfilled by candidates from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  6. Successful completion of the WHU admission process.
