Course Description
The Goethe MBA (Digital Transformation | Data Science | Sustainability) offers three cutting-edge focus areas: Digital Transformation, Data Science, and Sustainability.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
Required ECTS credits: 210.
Candidates with less than 210 CP at the undergraduate level can have their post-university professional work experience assessed for up to 30 CP during the admissions process in the form of an interview. The allocation of credit points for work experience will appear on the Academic Transcript of Records and will be titled ‘Prior Learning Assessment’.
To earn a German master's degree, students must accumulate a minimum of 300 CP. With the successful completion of the Digital Transformation MBA program, a total of 90 CP can be earned. Based on this, candidates with a collective total of less than 210 CP upon admission cannot be accepted to the prοgram.
Proof of relevant post-undergraduate work experience of at least one year is to be submitted, e.g., a performance review, reference letter, or written confirmation from your employеr.

Application Documents
A complete application package includes the following documents:
- Current curriculum vitae.
- Professional recommendation form (completed digitally via the application portal by the employer no later than the respective application deadline).
- Proof of a minimum of one year post-undergraduate work experience (e.g., employment certificate, the employer's job description).
- Essay of motivation (in English).
- Proof of English-language proficiency (see language requirements). If the applicant has not taken any of the tests mentioned when submitting the application, the applicant can upload a confirmation of the test registration to the online admissions portal. The official test certificate must be submitted via post to the GBS Office of Admissions before the subsequent application deadline to qualify for the respective tuition fee discount or by the final application deadline at the latest without any right to a discount.
Applicants who submit a language certificate older than two years but without an expiry date will be invited for an additional interview with a native speaker of English.
Applicants registered for the TOEFL-iBT® test or the TOEFL-iBT® Home Edition test can ensure their test result will be sent automatically to Goethe Business School by indicating the institutional code 3567 upon test registration.
Certificates submitted after the final application deadline can no longer be considered. - Official diploma, university transcript, and diploma supplement (if available) plus official translations into English or German - Only notarized copies will be accepted and must be submitted personally or via registered mail to
