Course Description
The Master of Engineering in Mechatronic and Cyber-Physical Systems at the Technische Hochschule Deggendorf (THD) is a three-semester program designed to deepen the knowledge and skills of graduates in mechatronics and related fields. The curriculum focuses on modern simulation systems, cooperative and autonomous systems, innovative human-machine interfaces, and additive manufacturing processes. It also covers functional safety of software-based control and automation systems. The program includes both technologically oriented and interdisciplinary study units, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of networked systems in digital production. Taught in English and starting in October, the program prepares students for careers in various industries, including digitalized manufacturing, quality assurance, research, and teaching. Graduates are equipped to handle complex engineering tasks, contribute to the development of smart factories, and engage in the evolving field of automation and robotics.

Qualification Requirements
- The qualification for the master's programme "Mechatronic and Cyber-Physical Systems" is proven by the completion of a basic course of study at a domestic or foreign university with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits in the fields of industrial engineering, technical physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a degree that is equivalent to such a university degree. Based on the documents submitted, the examination board decides on the equivalence of prior degrees.
- For this reason, applicants having obtained their academic training (e.g., undergraduate degree) in non-member states of the Lisbon convention are recommended to submit a GATE or GRE (general) certificate deemed to further substantiate their eligibility for this study programme.
- Additionally, the professional qualification for this study programme is to be demonstrated in the context of an aptitude assessment.&nbsр;

GermanSpecification: A2 language level must be completed only by the end of the studies and proven by a certificate
