Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the field of medical technology with a relevant thesis. Applicants who do not have a degree in the above sense, but who have completed professional university studies (usually bachelor) from an engineering or natural science course related to medical technology, e.g. technically oriented physiotherapy, optometry, biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, physical technology, nuclear technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, microsystem technology, industrial mathematics, computer science, process engineering or comparable courses of study must prove their specialist knowledge in medical technology for approval.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 180.
The access committee decides on the comparability and the technical suitability of similar courses and the scope of the course. It also assesses the comparability of the scope and grade of the professional qualification.
