Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a literary, cultural, social, media, language or economics-oriented course of study and an overall grade of at least 2.5 or in their bachelor thesis have achieved a grade of at least 2.0 or the country-specific equivalent.
Applicants who do not meet the above in the semester of the application, degree courses will be completed if they have already achieved at least 132 CP with a grade point average of at least 2.3 or the country-specific equivalent or in their bachelor's thesis a grade of at least 2.0 or the country-specific equivalent. Such applicants can be admitted if they submit the certificate of completion of their studies by September 30th.
Applicants must prove that they have earned credit points that they have studied modules related to North America in at least one of the following areas in the bachelor's degree or in the first professionally qualifying degree: literary and cultural studies, political science, modern and latest history, postcolonial studies, economics, media studies, linguistics.
