- There is no tuition fee for the consecutive master's degree. However, the tuition fee for the continuing education master's degree is 16,000 € in total. The cost can also be paid in four instalments of 4,000 € each. In addition, 144,40 € will be payable per semester (basic contribution to the student union and solidarity contribution for the student public transportation pass (Semesterticket).

Qualification Requirements
For a consecutive master's degree:
Bachelor's degree in paper process technology.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
If the applicant has already completed university studies for which less than 210 ECTS credit points (but at least 180 ECTS credit points) were given, the prerequisite for passing the master's examination is to obtain the missing points in basic courses, relevant to the subject, selected from among those offered by Munich University of Applied Sciences.
For a continuing education master's degree:
Bachelor's degree in the field of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, pulp and wood technology, printing technology, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 180.
For the consecutive master's degree: proof of at least 12 weeks of practical experience in the engineering field of the paper industry or of a supply industry. If there is a doubt, the decision will be made by the Examination Board.
For the continuing education course: proof of at least one year - after completion of the study course or an equivalent qualification - which is a relevant, qualified occupation.
For consecutive master's degrees: a completed first course of studies with the average result "good" or higher. Those applicants who had an average of less than 2.5 must take a test of aptitude for this field.
For continuing education master's degree: prospective students and students who have completed their first-degree study with the overall test result of 2,6 to 3,0 must demonstrate professional competence in the context of an aptitude test.
