During the first year of the program, students are required to pay tuition fees to the University of Kent (please refer to the link provided in the “Partner Universities” section of this profile for the most up-to-date information). In addition, reduced administrative fees are payable to Marburg University during the first year (€366.60 per semester). In the second year, students are subject to the regular semester fees at Marburg University (€416.60 per semester). No additional tuition fees apply during the second уеar.
The M.A. Peace and Conflict Studies (International Joint Degree) empowers students to critically analyze conflict and peacebuilding in diverse global contexts. With one year in Kent and one in Marburg, students explore conflict dynamics, mediation strategies, and peace processes through theory and practice.

Qualification Requirements
Previous Degree
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in politics, government, international relations, international studies or European studies or in a cognate discipline in social science (e.g., geography) or humanities (e.g., history). Students from other disciplines will be considerеd.
GPA Comment
Good honors degreе.

Explanation regarding the application period
There is no fixed application deadline; admissions are rolling. Early applications—up to one year in advance—are highly recommended. Due to limited places, those applying before the end of March have a much better chance of admission. Applicants seeking on-campus housing must be fully enrolled by 30 June. Scholarship applicants should observe separate deadlines.
