Qualification Requirements

Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the field of chemical engineering, or process technology.

Minimum standard period of study: 7 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 210.

GPA Rate 2.30
GPA Comment

The final grade for the Bachelor's degree must be at least "good" (German grade 2.3 or equivalent).

Additional information:
Foreign course applicants must provide evidence of German language skills equivalent to Level A1 at the beginning of the course. After the second term, students must verify that they have passed the relevant examination in accordance with Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Application Documents

An applicant to the Process Engineering and Energy Technology (PEET) Master's program must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. An academic degree in a field relevant to the PEET course content.
  2. A Bachelor's degree equivalent to 210 ECTS credit points, or a Bachelor's degree equivalent to 180 ECTS credit points.
  3. The final grade for the Bachelor's degree must be at least "good" (German grade 2.3 or equivalent).
  4. Good language skills, see
  5. 2 reference letters from referees who can appraise the academic abilities and motivation of the applicant.
  6. An individual letter of motivation.
