Railway Systems Enginееring

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).

The applicants must have:

1. Mathematical-statistical basics (18 CP):
   1. Mathematics 14 CP.
   2. Statistics 2 CP.
2. Mechanical basics (11 CP).
3. Engineering basics (10 CP total) from at least two of the fields:
   1. Building materials/material science.
   2. Control engineering.
   3. Geotechnical engineering.
   4. Environmental management.
   5. Hydromechanics/fluid mechanics.
   6. Thermodynamics/physics.
   7. Basics of electrical engineering.
4. Subject-specific fundamentals (50 CP), from two of the fields (at least 10 CP each):
   1. Transport: Roads, railways or airports, transport economics.
   2. Mechanical engineering: automotive engineering, internal combustion engines, rail vehicle technology, aerospace technology.
   3. Electrical engineering: electrical engineering, battery storage technology, electrical machines.
   4. Building area: building construction, statics, solid construction, steel construction.
   5. Spatial planning: urban- and regional planning, transport planning, urban water management
   6. Computer science: programming languages, database systems.
