Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a religious studies or sociology program or subject.
Alternatively, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a cultural or social science field of study (primarily anthropology, ethnology, history, cultural studies, Jewish studies, Islamic studies, political science, a regional science as well as comparable courses of study abroad with a corresponding foreign language designation) with proof of in-depth knowledge of content relevant to religious studies. If the degree certificate does not indicate any specific courses, applicants must enclose proof (official course description or syllabus).
In case of doubt, the selection committee decides.
Provisional acceptance may be granted to applicants who have not yet completed their bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification at the time of application, if at least 150 credit points have been attained and it is expected that the bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification will be completed by the end of the first semester of the master's degree at the latest.
